This week flew by - I can't believe it is the end of the week already. All I know is that it is starting to feel like fall. The weather has gotten cooler - and the leaves are starting to fall.
I love fall - it is one of my favorite times of the year. I want to learn to enjoy it even more. In life it is so easy to focus on the future - instead of today. We can fall into the trap of fretting about the future or worrying about something that might happen. We need to learn to be thankful for today - and appreciate it.
I have to document this because it is insane how poor the customer service is at Apple. Their lack of acknowledgement of problems - and follow through - is proving to me that they are not an honorable company that stands behind their products or service.
I was very hopeful last week when I finally had a breakthrough. The senior advisor I spoke with said that the problem I have been having is with a faulty hard drive. I could not believe it - what I had been saying for the last nine months - someone finally acknowledged.
After some back and forth conversation with the advisor - he agreed to put in a request to allow me to return this lemon of a machine and buy a new one. I was supposed to receive an approval with legal documents within 24 hours, which would have been last Thursday afternoon. As of Friday, I had not heard anything, so I emailed the advisor. As of Monday, still no word, so emailed him again. As of today, I have not heard anything.
Since this process does not seem to be moving along, and my machine is so pitiful - my husband suggested that we buy an external drive - and install the operating system on it - so that I can run my my machine from the external drive.
This is only a temporary solution - but nothing like setting up a machine for the bajillionth time - and having to spend an unnecessary $60 - just to use my iMAC. I am so tired of setting up my machine - installing Office, Creative Cloud, preferences, logins, and all the many more things you do. I have arranged my dock - and removed and added applications too many times...
I really do not understand the lack of support. I wish Apple would not make empty promises - and instead be a company of integrity - a company that follows through on what they say - and does not frustrate customers - by making them jump through endless hoops. If they would just admit this computer is a "lemon" and give me a new computer.
I am loosing hope - and the excitement I felt last week in anticipation of possibly getting a new machine that worked is waning. I want to anticipate good news today, but as more time elapses with no word, I have a feeling I will be calling and sitting on just one more long phone call - rehashing everything I have already talked about many, many, many, many, many times before.
One of the most popular items I have shared lately has been this camo jacket. I styled it a few weeks ago with button front {blue} jeans - and today I am sharing how to wear the with black jeans. If you want to see this look "in real life" - I styled it here.
My black jeans are probably my most worn - and "go to" jeans. They are definitely a wardrobe staple. Also, how about that padlock charm necklace. That is one of my favorite necklace brands - and I love that necklace.
I have felt a bit uninspired to put outfit collages together lately - but this one has brought me joy when I look at it. I am so happy with how it turned out, and I know that it is definitely a great wardrobe staple outfit that will last for years!
There is something so rich about a rust colored sweater paired with black jeans and leopard shoes. It is definitely a classic fall look, which I love! I like it so much that I want to go out and buy a cozy rust colored sweater to re-create it.
Snakeskin is having a big moment this fall - but there is something very classic about leopard that I believe will never go out of style. And, if you want to get some leopard loafers - those leopard loafers are 60% off - and only $44.
I added some sweater and jean picks to my "favorites page" HERE.

I am loving this weather and the fall leaves. Overnight our leaves have turned color and the weather has been rainy and cold, but that is okay. It has been somewhat cozy. I love hearing the wind and seeing the leaves swirl around - it just felt like a cozy fall, and is the perfect time to start the fireplace!
And, if you like that buffalo plaid knit beanie, I found almost the exact one here or the pattern to make your own here.
This tee is one of my favorites! It is so soft and has a little bit of a sheen that makes it feel more dressy than just a regular tee. It comes in different colors. I liked it so much I bought it in grey, black and blush. I debated getting the green and burgundy, too!
Also, I wear these jeans so much. If you want a flattering high rise pair of skinny jeans - I recommend them!
Pink Peonies has been one of my favorite blogs for a few years - and just this past year Rachel launched her own clothing line - she has a lot of pretty feminine pieces - some end of summer styles and early fall pieces.
