Why do I shop at Nordstrom? Nordstrom is one of my favorite places to shop, and it does not surprise me that recently they moved ahead of Kohl's to the #1 spot as the nation's most popular fashion retailer. If I ever have to talk to customer service (which I very rarely do), I know that they will be easy to talk with and will resolve my problem without a lot of hassle, which is not the experience I have had with other stores. Also, since they started offering free shipping both ways, it makes it an easy and risk free process to try things since the nearest Nordstrom store is over two hours away. I wish they would expand their Rack offerings online, but I know that they are moving forward with 14 new Nordstrom Rack stores this year.

Destroyed (distressed) denim, floral print, and leather are all hot trends right now, so I thought I would group them together for a look. I think the floral print does a nice job of offsetting the distressed look of the denim, and leather gives it a rocker, fun look! What do you think? Any of these trends on your wish list for spring/summer?

First Date Print Sweatshirt
I love this ink blot print used in the First Date Print Sweatshirt. It reminds me of when I was in elementary school and did those fun ink blot paintings (in a good way, most definitely!). I love how it creates a floral motif pattern in the bold, bright yellow and green, along with blots of purple, pink and blue. It has a sophistication yet versatility to be dressed up or down.

Desk to Date Night!

Here is a day to night look that I put together on Polyvore for the Woolite & Sincerely Jules contest.

For work, I have paired a bright, sunny, yellow peplum top with a pencil skirt, simple, classic white jacket and polka dot pumps. For date night, I have paired the top with a quilted moto jacket, distressed jeans, and black pumps.
