I am back with The Blended Blog and our weekly Style Perspectives.  Our host this week is Deena from Shoes to Shiraz.  Our theme is styling a graphic tee.

I kind of derailed from the prompt this week and my look is sans a graphic tee, instead I am wearing one of my favorite tanks, which at this point, you probably think it is the only tank I own.  I do own other tops - I just have not pulled them out of winter storage yet.  As far as graphic tees, I own a couple - one is my favorite football team (the New England Patriots - which my husband thinks the only reason I like the team is because of Tom Brady - but as I keep telling him, I have liked the team since the 90s back when Drew Bledsoe was the quarterback and Tom Brady was still playing at Michigan.  And, the other tee is from a restaurant in Michigan, where my husband and I love to go in the summer.  They have the best blue cheese burger and sweet potato fries.)  The problem with graphic tees is that they are one of those things that I think look cute on everyone else - but I am just not comfortable in.   So, if you are looking for some style inspiration, be sure to check out how my 14 other blogger friends styled their graphic tee.

Also, what do you think of the pink utility jacket?  I thought the black and white stripe down the inside of the jacket was fun - so that is why there is a picture of the inside of the jacket.  And, I highly recommend my Steve Madden sandals.  I have already worn them a couple of times - and they are really comfortable - and I feel so "on trend" when I am wearing them.

And for some additional style inspiration, I have included some ways one of my favorite blogger has styled a graphic tee/sweatshirt - like this fun “Wifey” sweatshirt layered under a blazer.

  4. That jacket is great, and LOL re: Tom Brady story hahah. I'm the stupid girl who would pick a team based on the guy. That or team colours, obviously not a sports fan.

  13. I LOVE your pink jacket. It's the perfect shade. My sister was friends with Drew Bledsoe in college - we all went to WSU, but he didn't play until the year after I graduated.

  21. First of all, I am always in awe of how crips and beautiful your simple outfit photos look, behind an all-white background. Gow do you do that, could you tell me? Secondly, that gorgeous utility jacket from Gap just went on my wish-list. I know I want the fuchsia but I might get the red or tan, also. Ditto for the stunning Steve Madden sandals. I did join in with my new Graphic Tee which I love. Like you, I don't have many graphic tees, actually.

Don't forget to join my linkup every Thursday. The new linkup is currently live. This outfit is too good not to be shared. Thanks, Ada. =)
