January Jones shows off a great classic black look with a pop of color in the skater skirt. Biker or moto jackets are a great layering piece and can easily be paired with a bold skirt for a more dressy, fun look.

Finds & Deals: Macy's Wish List

This is my favorite time to shop at Macy's.  It's their friends & family sale where you get 25% off of almost everything (Code: Friend).  I think appliances, electronics, and furniture and other similar items are 10% off, but as far as clothes, shoes, handbags, jewelry - it is 25% off.  There are very few brand restrictions, which is great deal!

Review: I love Michael Kors watches. I like this more delicate version with the diamonds and thinner circular face.

Review: I am looking for skinny white jeans for summer.  I like white jeans because they look good with a lot of different color combinations.  They can be paired with royal blue and yellow, caramel brown, red and black, and other colors and patterns.

This is a simple classic look with a pop of color that Kate Hudson is wearing.  I think you could also pair the black top and pink pumps with skinny jeans, either black or blue denim, or even distressed boyfriend jeans.

I have been looking for some flat sandals for summer. Since I wear a lot of heels, I need something comfortable for walking and a little more dressy than flip flops.  These are my top picks.  

1. Rachel Zoe Gwen Sandal sold @ Piperlime 
Review: I like the simple design and the tiny polka dots print; however, they are little too pricey for me at $195. 

2. DV by Dolce Vita Ayden Sandal sold @ Piperlime
Review: I  think these are my favorite. They come in all colors - green, coral, neon yellow - however, I probably will get black.  I like the snake print details on the strap and toe piece.

3. Dolce Vita Dia Sandal sold @ Nordstrom
Review: These are in a tie for my favorite.  I like the studded detail. They also come in black and white; however, they are a little more pricey than #2.

4. DV by Dolce Vita Apex Sandal sold @ Piperlime
Review: The gold detail on these adds to its dressy-ness. For casual wear, it might be a little too much, though.

5. Leather Strap Thong Sandal sold @ Zara
Review: These Zara sandals resemble the gladiator style. I like the mix of brown with animal print and the ankle straps. I think these would be great with a maxi dress, but for skinny jeans, the ankle straps might be in the way of the pant leg.

6. Sam Edelman Gigi Sandal sold @ Nordstrom
Review: I like Sam Edelman sandals.  I have tried another pair and the footbed is really cushy. Although, for me, the sandals ran small.  In these sandals, I like the mix of the snake and animal print with the solid pop of the red/coral color.

Olivia Palermo is one of my favorite fashion icons.  I love her style.  In this look for less, I chose a shorter business jacket paired with a pencil skirt from The Limited, rather than the more flowy skater skirt.  I have found that I really like the pencil skirts from The Limited.  They seem to fit me the best.

If you are looking for a fun, graphic print dress, I think these body con (body conscious) dresses are pretty cool! I might be a little "conscious" to wear one of these, but with the right print and Spanx it will create a slimming effect. Until recently, I thought Spanx were just really expensive nylons, but since I tried them, I have changed my mind.  They are so much better than nylons.  They last, and they really do the trick!

For the most part, I tend to style a lot of looks around what you would wear after work hours. I think it is because I am most comfortable in jeans and I like shoes, in particular high heels. So, I thought I would show a look from day to night based around a simple blue/green top. A lot of the pieces that I found are from Mango. How to Wear: Red & Blue

I usually think of pairing red and blue together for a patriotic holiday, such as Memorial Day or Fourth of July; however, recently, I have started to see this color combo as a fashion trend. Although, it was seen on the runways back in Fall 2011, it seems to be more common today. Also, I got some inspiration from this look of Diane Kruger. The blue is less navy and more cobalt and the red, more of an orange-ish hue. What do you think of these colors together - would you wear it? I am debating it - although, I might try wearing my cobalt blue pumps with a red top or jacket.

Loft shows the look with a caramel belt and shoes. This is a little too matchy-matchy for me, so I thought I would change it up with black platform heels. They still have a brown heel, which ties in with the belt color but is a little less heavy than an all black sandal. I thought I would add a clear statement necklace with a coral accent ribbon, which is a steal at H&M for $7.95!
