Does anyone else think this summer has had some of the oddest weather?  It has been extremely hot - or unseasonable cool where I live.  It rained all June - and now we have not had a decent rain in almost a month!  And, this week the weather has gotten cool - so much that it almost feels like fall is starting.  And, I think our flowers are starting to think it's fall soon, too, because they are starting to die.

In preparation of fall, I think this dress that is 40% off would be a perfect late summer - early fall outfit.  I could also see adding a turtleneck under the dress in the fall.

MY TOP FIVE "HITS" FROM #NSALE

1. THE SOFTEST TEE 

This is the softest tee. I bought it last year - and I got another one this year.  It is a great layering piece - plus, it looks a little more dressy than just a plain tee. 

2. SUNGLASSES

I have wanted a new pair of sunglasses - and I found these that are almost $100 off and so comfy and stylish!

3. MY FAVORITE CARDIGAN

This cardigan is going to be a perfect fall sweater!  I love the color - and it’s a great price.

4. BOOTS

I spotted these boots in the preview catalog and I love them!  One recommendation - they run a 1/2 size small.

5.  JEANS

 I have a feeling these might be my new favorite jeans this fall.  They are under $50 - and I love the fit!

I really wanted to love these boots.  The fit was just not comfortable.

I will agree with the other reviewers - the fit of this cardigan was big and just not what I was expecting.  

3. FALL JACKET

I saw this jacket in the preview catalog and I knew I wanted to get it.  I was disappointed with the fit when I got it - not as cute as I thought it would be.

4. COZY SWEATER

I really wanted to love this sweater.  It was so warm and cozy - but I just did not love it!

This is one of my favorite (if not favorite) brand of jeans - but the fit of these jeans were off for me - and I did not like the distressing around the waist.

Are you ever out of words to share?  I am at a loss of words.  I can't think of something informative or clever or helpful to share...

I could mention that the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale opens to the public tomorrow - but I am guessing that everyone knows that - and for those that have been waiting for the public sale - I hope a lot of popular items - like this striped sweater and this really cozy shearling jacket for only $60 - that sold out almost instantly are back in stock!

(And, if I am being totally honest - somehow I got mixed up on my days - and put this whole #NSALE look together for today - thinking the sale went public today!)

 I will say though that snake pumps are probably my second favorite shoe after my leopard pumps.  I love how chic and trendy snake print is and how well it pairs with something as simple as a black tee and cardigan. It just adds that finishing touch to a look.

It's funny - I am totally a jeans type of person.  I just feel the most comfortable wearing them.  But, every once and awhile I gravitate towards a dress that I like. This floral dress was one of those dresses.  I spotted it - and thought it was so fun that I wanted to style it.  I love the way it turned out. Plus, that dress is a great deal.
