The festive party season is here! I don't know about you - but I do not go to many (if any) dress up Christmas parties. And, if I did, I would want to find things to wear that could wear again. This look I put together is a mix of different pieces that are dressy - but could easily be worn casually throughout the winter.
And, if you are looking for more outfit ideas for any Christmas parties you may have - I put together this 15 piece - mix and match outfit guide. Be sure to check it out HERE.
This cozy look was very popular - so I thought I would bring it back as an outfit idea for this Thanksgiving week. These cuffed jeans are the perfect denim color - and I love the burgundy boots.
Since it has been snowing all week, the winter white inspiration was on my mind. If you love that white military jacket, I found one for over 65% off HERE.
It has been a long time since I shared some of my favorite beauty products. I buy both more expensive and drug store brands - and for the most part - do not always see much of a difference to splurge. This is still my favorite moisturizer - and I buy it at Walmart. My mascara primer has been a wonderful purchase - it adds the extra length - and has made a big difference for me! I have tried both the save and splurge and I like them both, but I will save money on it from now on.
Winter has arrived where I live. It is so cold! This week it has already snowed a couple of times (and it is supposed to snow more this week), which really makes it feel like Christmas is coming. I love this time of year. I do not want to admit it, but I have already watched several Hallmark Christmas movies. Has anyone else? This one is still one of my favorites. And, this one is also at the top of my list.
I have also ordered some new Christmas decorations, and I can't wait to start decorating after Thanksgiving. I ordered these ceramic trees with LED lights and this little village with some twinkle lights. I plan to display them on my new bookshelf.
Today is Veteran's Day - so in addition to all the great sales - it is important to remember all of those who serve our country. Thank you to those men and women who have served!
This week I can officially say winter is on its way. The weather turned so cold. One day, it was so windy that it was hard to keep my balance. As I was walked into work with the gusts of wind - someone teased me and said - "Good thing you are carrying those bottles of water in - or you might just have blown away..." HaHa! I love the cooler weather - makes it feel like Christmas is on its way - but I could skip the windy days. Although, for some reason windy days make for good hair days for me. I guess that is one good thing about wind. (And, a little update - it really is winter because I woke up to it snowing!)
Anyway, here is a round up of popular items and some great finds and deals.
Thanksgiving is only two weeks away! Yesterday, I shared five different outfit ideas, which you can check out HERE. Today, I am sharing this layered look that would look great for Thanksgiving Day. That cute sweater may be a little cropped on it's own - but that is why I layered this blouse underneath, which is 40% off! It is a great way to add some extra style to the look (and warmth - if you are like me and are typically cold). And, how about those fun zipper booties?

I hope you are having a great Saturday! I am looking forward to a relaxing day of a lot of football watching. There are some good games. And, I am hoping there are some upsets - so my favorite team can be back in the running for the National Championship game.
I am loving this weather and the fall leaves. Overnight our leaves have turned color and the weather has been rainy and cold, but that is okay. It has been somewhat cozy. I love hearing the wind and seeing the leaves swirl around - it just felt like a cozy fall, and is the perfect time to start the fireplace!
And, if you like that buffalo plaid knit beanie, I found almost the exact one here or the pattern to make your own here.
