Best White Blazer + How to Treat Others

wicker straw bag trend

“Before you judge me; make sure you are perfect.”

There has been some talk lately from fellow bloggers about unsolicited and “mean” comments.  Whether you are blogger or not, we can all probably relate to a time in our lives when we have received comments from someone that have not been nice - whether it was at our workplace, from friends, or even family.  For me, I seem to be on the receiving end of continual unsolicited "mean" comments from someone I work with - that are hurtful and are upsetting.

We are all unique and special people, with our own talents, abilities, and personalities, which means no one else is like us - and another person is not going to think or do the same as us.  Just because someone has a different idea - it doesn't mean we should get mad at them.

Rather than judge or be critical - take a step back - and think...  "If you can’t be kind; be quiet."

About this look... this white blazer is only $50 - and the white mules (that also come in pink and black) are only $18!

  1. I am so sorry you had to endure a rude comment. People have seem to speak very freely regarding their opinions, whether good or bad without regard for others feelings. It's probably because it's easy to do on the internet. Just hold your head high and walk on.

  2. I am a lot older than you, I have learn to blocked completely those types of comment, and I am teaching my two sisters to do the same. Too much negativity around us. It is not worth it to even be angry, mad or hateful about what others think. You are doing a wonderful job, keep it up. From the beginning of the world its been like this and is not going to change. Don't worry and be happy! You are you and again you are doing a wonderful job.

  3. I'm sorry you have a frustrating co-worker. I've got one that isn't so nice, either, and as much as I try to just ignore it or rise above it, it can be so hurtful!

  4. Mean people really suck! Ha! Sorry but I can't think of a better way to say it. I think there are a lot of women who are jealous and unhappy with their own lives so they throw nastiness at someone else. While I understand that is the reason for it I still don't really like being on the receiving end of it! No one deserves that.

  5. In my experience, most of those people who throw about mean comments and pass judgement on others, are just jealous, insecure and terribly sad individuals. They need to bring down everyone else in order to feel better about themselves. So, in some ways, their criticism is really a backhanded compliment! Hope somehow this person becomes more secure in themselves and can just love you like the rest of us do!!
