Do you ever go on a vacation - and when you get back feel like you need a vacation from your vacation?  That's how I feel.  Last week, I was in North Carolina on vacation, and on our way we stopped at the World's Largest Furniture store.  It was the largest store I have ever seen or been in. There was over a million square feet of furniture in two massive buildings - one of the buildings looked as long as two football fields combined and was three floors tall.  At the end of walking around the showrooms multiple times, my feet were covered in blisters. These shoes are cute but not the right shoes for walking for an entire day! (However, I did get compliments the entire day - from designers in the stores.)

So, today's look...

Last week, I showed a floral dress with a utility vest and today I am styling a striped dress with a vest, inspired by this look on Pinterest.  This whole look is made up of budget-friendly pieces, including these studded sandals (that are a great price) and look a lot like the Valentino Rockstud ones.

WEDNESDAY FINDS & DEALS

These leopard slip on loafers that also come in black, pink, white, red, and blue are under $25.

This utility/cargo vest comes in a lot of different color combinations like pink and orange and even camo and ranges from $20-34.

This cute top with a bow in the front reminds me of a tropical vacation.

That top would look cute with these leaf-shaped earrings that are only $8.

This rolled sleeve $10 cotton shirt - just looks like the 90s to me.

This floral dress is $25 with the additional sale.

This pineapple pendant is a lot of fun! (And there are earrings, too!)

A few more striped dress options: $10 with flared skirt // tank style // short sleeve.

Also, I shared a lot more striped tops and dresses here - just in case you missed this post.

  1. Kat Tanita is one of my all time faves, and I think I have this image pinned about 30 times. This is before Pinterest warned you that you had already pinned an image. Insert guilty face emoji! Great recreation! I would be so overwhelmed in a store that large! I hope you found some good stuff!

  9. That's how I felt last weekend. Last Friday was my first day back after traveling in England and Ireland for a bit. I do online English tutoring for some side cash and I jumped right back into that all weekend as ... well traveling can be expensive. I was like man ... a day of nothing would have been good too. I'm loving this look! Thanks for linking up with Jennie and I for Fabulous Friday!
