I am breaking from my traditional neutral colors - and styling a bold look today.  Red is a color I tend to not wear.  Although, recently I got this red sweater (which is only $15) for Christmas - and I love wearing it!  I typically style my red sweater with black jeans and my cognac brown hiking boots; however, I thought it would be fun to style it with leopard.  Snake print has been having its moment recently; however, leopard print is always classic, and it looks great styled with red.   Also, it's Valentine's Day in a few weeks - and this look would be perfect!

Wardrobe Staples + Transitional Spring Outfit

As I have mentioned before, my black jeans are a wardrobe staple.  Also, I love a white blouse, like the one above that can be worn alone or layered under a sweater.  And, lastly, leopard boots (or flats/pumps) are essentials in my closet.  They are a "neutral" that can be worn with pretty much anything.

The weather will soon be starting to warm up - and it is time to start transitioning to spring outfits.  This look is made up of pieces that work both in the winter and the spring - and the layering of the blouse under the sweater is a great way to keep warm but also be able to adjust for different temperatures.
