Grey jeans are something that can be worn with so many different colors. You can mix them with neutrals, colors, and prints. In trying to show more ways to style an item, I am sharing three different ways to style grey jeans. All three of these are favorites of mine - and something I would wear.
The first look has a few great sale pieces - like the chunky rose-colored sweater that is 40% off, and the very popular ankle booties that are also on sale - and come in a lot more colors and prints.
My encouraging thought today is on discouragement. We all face discouraging times in our life - they may be big events in life that cause us a lot of pain, or sometimes it is can just be the daily disappointments that can upset us...
Everyone has known the ache of sadness that comes when life moves in an unanticipated, undesired direction. Disappointment may come as a result of a negative change in circumstances, a sudden reversal of plans, or a frustrating personal issue...
The Lord has a unique plan for your life, too. One that does not change according to unexpected circumstances. When you confront a situation that does not line up with your understanding of how God wants your life to proceed, you must stop and look to Him for direction. Sometimes He allows disappointments to occur so that you will learn to rely on Him more fully—to walk by faith and not by sight. But never forget this: while disappointments are inevitable, discouragement is a choice. You should not allow the challenges that arise to steal your enthusiasm or confidence in Him...
God does have blessings for you—more than you can imagine. Let go of disappointments and the fear of hoping and trusting again. God holds your future in His hands, and you will never lose by looking forward to what He has in store.

What are your everyday essential wardrobe pieces - for me one essential item in my closet would be my grey jeans (the other being probably my black jeans). I have found that grey jeans can be worn with so many things. I can actually find more ways to style my grey jeans sometimes than my regular blue jeans. I love the idea of creating a monochromatic outfit with grey jeans and a grey sweater - and just a little pop of pattern in the snake print boots. I mentioned the other day that one of my favorite heels are my snake print ones because they are the perfect addition to a work outfit. And, the same is true for snake boots. They compliment a casual outfit so well - and create both a trendy and chic look!
You may have noticed that I love to style grey jeans. I have put together grey jeans outfits here(one of my favorites from last year), here (with a pop of red) and here (with a spring coral color) recently. My good friend, Gina, recently commented that she struggles on deciding what shoes to wear with grey jeans. I have found that most neutrals (black or cognac) and snake print look great with grey jeans. I have even been tempted to try white heels or boots with grey jeans.
If you are looking for some new jeans for spring - I would highly recommend a pair of grey jeans. I think you will find you can style them many different ways.
I love a dark grey jeans - don't you? The other week I shared how to style a coral sweater with white jeans. You can see that look HERE. And, today, I am sharing how to style a coral sweater with grey jeans. I like both looks. What do you think?
Can you believe Valentine's Day is next week? Does anyone else think that time continues to move faster and faster?
Since it is my goal to share as many ways to wear items - I thought this look was a great example of how the same sweater and jeans can be styled two different ways. Last week, I shared the same grey jeans and sweater with a leopard coat and cognac boots. You can see the full look HERE. Today, I am styling it with an off white blouse, red bag (that happens to be 50% off), and some cute boots that also are 50% off - for a Valentine's Day inspired look.
In the winter, I like layering a blouse under my sweaters sometimes for extra warmth - plus I think it adds a little extra something to the look.
