THREE FALL THINGS TO ADD TO YOUR HOME OR CLOSET

1. Fall is my favorite time of year - I love the smell in the air and the cooler temps.  I always get excited about fall decorations.  I have been looking for some simple (and affordable) decorations for fall, like this pumpkin trivet (for hot pans) - which is only $15.  It would also be perfect for Thanksgiving.  Or this doormat - which would also be very fitting for Thanksgiving or really anytime of year.  A few more possible all year-round decorations (and a little more pricey) are these decorative bowls and these fun leaf table decorations.

2. With the cooler temps - an easy way to add a little color and a layer of warmth to any look is with a plaid scarf. It can be layered over a simple tee and with a denim jacket. This plaid scarf is only $25 - and is a great deal!

3. Check out these booties which are 50% off right now. They are the popular bootie trend. They come in burgundy (one of the most rich and trendy fall colors), tan (most popular bootie color), and a chocolate brown.

1. This sweater.  It has a fun fringe detail down the front, and it looks so comfy and perfect for fall.

2. The off the shoulder trend continues into fall - and I like this sweater.  I am not sure if I will wear it on the shoulder or possibly where it centered and layer a button down underneath.  It kind of reminds me of a look Anne Hathaway wore in Devil Wears Prada.

3. I love shoes!  And, I really love these lace up chunky heeled boots.  The price tag is more than I have ever spent on shoes - but I do really love them.  Do you know when you find something - and you know you will not find anything else just like it?  Well, those are these boots. (These are similar and under $35.)

4. This is the best cardigan (other colors here).  I bought it during the Nordstrom Anniversary sale, and I love wearing it. It is so soft and perfect for when I am sitting around inside the house and it is a little chilly. (This one is similar and is under $20.)

5. Hairspray that smells good and it not too sticky or stiff.  I found this when I was in NYC a few weeks ago - it smells wonderful, and it is light with a little bit of hold.
