It's Friday!

I have had a great week of sewing and designing.  I successfully completed one sweater that needed a few tweaks, so I made a second sweater with the modifications.  And, I am happy to say the second one fits perfectly.  I then decided to take the first sweater that didn't fit - and made modifications to it to turn it into a jacket.  And, it happens that I like the jacket re-design even more that the sweater.  My mom and husband both do, too. 

It is a good lesson to remember - how "mistakes" can turn into something even better.  I need to remember to see the positive - and not dwell on what didn't work.

All this sewing of fall sweaters/jackets - has me even more excited for cooler weather - and fall!
