A collared shirt and sweater is a favorite combo of mine.  It is a classy yet casual look, plus it adds an extra layer of warmth in the winter.  My button down shirt is a favorite. 

[And, a funny, well really not funny story... if you notice in the close-up picture with the watch and leopard calf hair pouch, my wedding rings are not on my finger.  Midway through taking pictures, I put some lotion on my hands.  As usual, I took off my rings to put on the lotion.  Well, I forgot to put my rings back on my hand.  Fast forward to after taking pictures - I am in the car ready to drive home - all of sudden I think - where are my rings????  I could not find them. After a little panic and searching,  I found them in the back pocket of my jeans.  (And, if only this was the first time. Over my years of marriage, I have managed to wash them (in the washing machine - full cycle) and another time, I put them on top of my luggage at the airport and then walked to my flight only to realize I had dropped the rings somewhere along the way (on a terrazzo floor!) - good news I found them - and those are only a couple of stories - there are more!)

Christmas Dressy & Casual

 If you are trying to figure out what to wear to your Christmas parties this year - I have a few more looks based on my shopping list.  I have created one dressy and one casual look.   These looks can also be modified to fit what you have in your closet.  You could easily swap out a pencil skirt for the midi or skinny jeans for the boyfriend or if you want to make the casual look more dressy, add a fringed skirt or dressy pants. If you are like me and like to mix dressy and casual, here are few looks.

This faux fur collar is actually from my leather jacket I wore here. It is detachable which is great because I put in on in the winter, and take it off in the spring, so my leather jacket can easily be worn all year.  Also, I can attach the faux fur collar to my denim jacket for a different look.  (I got the inspiration from these looks.)

 These outfit photos were taken over a month ago when the temperature was warmer and leaves were still colorful... now it is COLD, and all the leaves are gone, and it has even snowed a few times...
