I am still waiting - and trying to get my new little project launched. It is out of my hands at this point - and I am waiting on someone else, which makes it more difficult.

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale launched yesterday for those that have "Iconic" status. That is not me, but I have added a few things to my "wish list" for when I have access to shop (I just hope things are left when I can shop). As I mentioned earlier, I will mostly be shopping for basics.

Slight Delay + Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Preview

I really tried to get my project launched this week, but it has just been one of those crazy weeks with too much going on that kept me from wrapping up my project. I do not like promising something and then not delivering. So, I apologize, and I promise it is coming. Thank you for understanding!

With all the unknowns of what is happening with the pandemic - I know I might not be alone in saying that I am not really doing a lot of shopping. I will probably stock up on the basics - tees, jeans, sweaters... but not a lot of extras because I am not planning to be going out a lot this fall - at least inside places - until things start to turn around.

(So, here's a funny story about this swimsuit. When I first ordered it, I for some reason, only ordered the top, and didn't order the bottoms. When I realized it, I ordered the bottoms, but the store kept canceling my order. I ordered the bottoms five times, and finally, after multiple attempts, I finally got a matching bottom. It is a cute suit, and I can't wait to wear it on vacation! One thing, it looks a lot more stylish in person - online it kind of looks boring.)

2019 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Top Picks + Most Popular Items

Early access to the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale starts today for all cardholders. I've rounded up a few of my favorites from each category below. Have fun shopping and browsing! I know some have mentioned that since you live where it is "hot" - it is not as fun to shop the sale, but this year, I have found a lot of more items for those in the warmer climates.
And, I've also found some great basics that everyone can use - like this bra. I don't typically talk about undergarments, but I recently tried this bra - and it is super comfy, lightweight and has pretty lace on the back - and it is on sale. It usually does not go on sale - so this is a great deal! I also love my "shaper" shorts - that I wear under dresses. They smooth everything out - and make me feel more confident. I have them in both nude and black. They are also a great deal - as part of the #NSALE.

#NSALE Favorite Picks + What My Husband Bought

Today is the day the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale starts online - if you have early access. Even if you don't, hopefully, this gives you a great preview of what is available. If you have a Nordstrom credit card - the sale will be open to all cardholders starting tomorrow (Friday) at 12:30pm EST.
From what I have looked at so far it looks like a lot of great deals.

Also, this week starts the early access to the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale #NSALE. This is a great time to stock up on new fall items - for a sale price. I have a lot of great memories shopping the sale with my mom. It has been a yearly tradition for us! I remember years ago - before all the hype of online shopping and style bloggers, I used to get the catalog in the mail - and mark the items I wanted to buy. Then, I would look forward to when they would be available to buy. The sale has become HUGE and so hyped-up - it's a mega event! In some ways, it has lost its appeal and excitement for me. I still plan to shop the sale - and share my picks with you starting tomorrow, Thursday - but this year I am going to take a step back and shop a little less. I plan to buy only a few things - and mostly my staple items.

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale has finally arrived. This day is like Christmas to me. I love fall clothes and shoes - and this sale is the best time to stock up on all the fall essentials! Plus, this is the only time you can shop new fall arrivals on sale.
